Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI)
Selected papers on adaptive instructional systems to teach (a) reading in the first three grades of elementary school, (b) a computer programming language at the college level, and (c) a foreign language vocabulary. The research was carried out at the Institute for Mathematical Studies in the Social Sciences at Stanford University from about 1962 to 1975.
